DOWNLOADING AND ACTIVATING Pre- 34 Knot Tides Module for Texas or Alabama ...

STEP 1 - FIND THE FILE YOU NEED

When doing this step,  you will be asked for a name and password...use the confidential name and password you were given previously to download Hurrevac for Win95/98/NT/2000/XP.    Remember,  case of the name and password is important.

Using your  internet browser call up the following URL:  http://www.hurrevac.com/private/evacdata/tx
for Texas or...

http://www.hurrevac.com/private/evacdata/al
for Alabama.

Once you are in the private/evacdata/tx directory,  there will be a file called TXTIDES.EXE   or ALTIDES.EXE  

STEP 2 - DOWNLOAD TO YOUR PC -

To download, right-click on the file name and select Save File As... or Save Link As...(depending on browser) then make a note of where you save it on your PC.  The file must be on the same drive as your Hurrevac program when you run it.

STEP 3 - RUN THE FILE TO ACTIVATE

The .exe file you just downloaded must be run ON YOUR PC by double-clicking on it in Windows Explorer. The file must be on the same drive as your Hurrevac program when you run it.

The module will now be active under the Timing menu in Hurrevac2000.   NOTE -   you must also have the Texas ( or Alabama as applicable) evacuation data plugins installed for the Tides module to work correctly.
